Eternal Flame - How to Prepare for Your First Time
You have arrived at a major milestone. Lesson 6 is not just the next step; it is a fundamental shift in your practice.
Up until now, you have used physical movement as the engine for pleasure. Today, you take the training wheels off. You are moving from generating sensation with your muscles to sustaining it with your mind.
Because this requires a deeper level of mental surrender, you cannot treat this like previous sessions.
Before you press play, ensure the stage is set:
- The Sanctuary: As discussed in our latest blogs, this is not a session for a commute or a quick break. You need absolute privacy and the guarantee of zero interruptions. Create a “do not disturb” bubble around yourself. Maybe take some time to set the stage.
- The Time: Give yourself a buffer of at least 2 hours. Don’t squeeze this in between appointments. You need time to settle down before starting, and time to bask in the afterglow when it finishes
- Trust Your Foundation: You are ready. If you haven’t skipped ahead, the wiring is already in place. Your task now is not to push, but to surrender – gently handing over the reins from your muscles to your mind.
Deep breath. Settle in.
