A question that comes up often is:
When should I move on to the next lesson? Am I ready to proceed? How often should I do each lesson? How should a session look like?
Move on to the next lesson whenever you want & feel like it.
You will notice if you aren’t ready yet (unable to hold contractions long enough, insufficienct disctinction between muscles)
no problem skipping ahead and try/listen to later lessons early. (except lesson 6!)
choose your own tempo! Do what feels right. Work most on what you think you need to improve most
concentrate on the lessons that work for you (that give you pleasure)
keep training all lessons. This is not a one time listen & learn, but a longterm training programm.
When should I move on to the next lesson?
There is no fixed time-window as everyone is different. You start from different levels, some are naturals others need lots of training, some can exercise everyday others just once a week. So it depends on many factors. But know this: For lessons 1-3 there is no fixed order. Jump through them as you like. It makes sense to go through them in order the first time, but then you choose what works for you. If you can’t hold a big squeeze, play with the eternal wave. Make sure you have Fun! And enjoy yourself. This is training – but it’s also pleasure time! Treat it like that.
How often and how long should I exercise?
As often as you feel like it and as long as you are comfortable. Here are some rough suggestions, based on the feedback I got:
Beginner: Duration: When you start out, 15-30 minutes might be more than enough. You’re untrained muscles will get tired fast.
Example Exercise: Maybe lesson 1 and 3 in a session. If you feel pleasure and want to continue, choose any instrumental and go play freestyle Stop when you start to feel exhausted, don’t overdo it or your muscles will feel sore the next day.
How often: Do it daily if you like. If you can’t, make sure to at least do base and center contractions throughout the day. Their invisible, do them while waiting, while watching Netflix… whenever you think of it. If you don’t think of it: Set a timer to remind you. (we’ll add this to the App in the future)
Advanced: Duration: When you are a bit more advanced, your sessions will get longer naturally. 1-2 hour from warmup to cooldown are pretty common.
Example Exercise: Lessons 2,4 &3 in a row. Maybe repeat one or more as instrumental if you still feel like it. Then maybe finish with instrumental 6 for freestyle playtime.
How often: You still can do exercises daily. Especially those contraction quickies throughout the day. But be aware, that doing 2-hour sessions each day for longer will decrease the chance of reaching your next milestone. Give your body time to rest and restore every now and then. This heightens your sensibility a lot. You’ll be surprised how powerful sensations can be after pausing 2-5 days, even though it’s the exact same exercise.
The times given here are rough suggestion for when to proceed to this exercise. These times seem common for eager newcomers that exercise daily with a day pause every now and then. It’s totally okay if you proceed slower (or faster). You do you. Listen to your body. Ask for feedback in Discord / Reddit
LESSON 1 (DAY1)
Try to do base and center contractions (with or without music) throughout your day, whenever you think of it. It’s the staple of Mindgasm. Build strength and stamina. Like visitin the gym or do some daily jogging. -Try to avoid regular orgasms&masturbation to become more sensitive for the new feelings
LESSON 2: BIG SQUEEZE (WEEK 1)
You need some stamina for the big squeeze. Move on to it when you can hold a squeeze for 20-30 seconds at least. Use this lesson to extend this time. And start to be playful and just enjoy the feelings with this one.
LESSON 3: ETERNAL WAVE (WEEK 2
You can start with this lesson as early as you want. It actually is easier for starters than lesson 2, as you don’t need to hold contractions for long. And you can start with little distinction between base and center – it’s the goal of this lesson to increase that distinction. It will feel like “it’s all flexing together” in the beginning and that is ok. Fake it till you make it. This lesson is to be revisited often, as building distinction takes the longest for most.
LESSON 4: THE SECRET MUSCLE (WEEK 2-4)
You can start with this, as soon as you have a basic understanding of Base and Center. It adds your Top and for many, this is where the real fun begins. Flexing the Top causes the most pleasure with the least effort. It’s also the first session focussing a lot on mindset. So nothing wrong to skip to this lesson early on and incorporate the Top into your playtime toolbox 🙂 Just make sure to return to the previous lessons and keep training them as well.
LESSON 5: TRINITY (1-3 MONTHS)
This one is definitely more advanced and builds on a proper understanding of base center and top. It needs stamina and decent distinction, so if you started from scratch, you should start with this not earlier than 1-3 months in, depending on your speed progress. Nothing wrong with giving it a try, you’ll notice if you’re not ready yet.
LESSON 6: ETERNAL FLAME (2MONTHS+)
Lessons 1-5 you can try whenever you like, give it a listen, even when you’re just starting out the first week. But don’t do that with lesson 6. You need to be well prepared and comfortable with lesson 5. Just trying it out before would be a huge spoiler and waste a lot of potential progress that your first encounter will bring you. Exception: The instrumental version. It can be used for your own pleasure sessions early on. Just don’t turn on narration!
